MTTO: Blue Green Algae Toner

Part 3 of 8 from my MTTO line review! This is will be another short post like my last one on the Organic Lemon Toner. In hindsight, I probably should have combined both reviews...oh well.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Leaf Juice, Ascophyllum Nodosum (Organic Kelp) Extract, Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae (Organic Blue Green Algae) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Salix Nigra (Black Willowbark) Extract, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai Fruit) Pulp Powder, Sodium Chloride (Dead Sea Salt), Polysorbate, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Essential Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Glucolactone, Citric Acid, Lavendula Angustifolia (Certifed Organic) Hydrosol.

Smell: According to the website, this has a lavender and birchwood scent which is reminiscent of a spa. I guess I would agree with that. This definitely is a more herbal scented product, not sure if it really reminds me of a spa but it's not anything I would rave or complain about.

Usage: Just like any other toner, I use this with a cotton pad right after I wash my face. I use this morning and night, everyday. One bottle lasted about 2 1/2 months for me.

Final Thoughts: After finishing up the Organic Lemon Toner, I noticed that this toner was being packaged with the set targeted for acne or oily skin which is my skin type. I decided to give this one a try and I really like it. Although I miss the amazing smell of the lemon toner, I think this toner is a bit more effective at keeping my skin clear and again does a great job of toning without making my skin feel tight or dry. I think both toners are great and make a positive difference. For me, I will be sticking with the Blue Green Algae for the main reason that I think it has done a better job at keeping my breakouts at bay.
